According to the Alpharetta Neighbor, State Rep Brad Raffensperger has filed a resolution to re-create Milton County, which existed from 1857 to 1931 with the county seat in Alpharetta. During the Great Depression, Milton and Campbell counties were merged with Fulton. The resolution would require 120 votes in the statehouse to move forward.
